Two people were killed in a car accident early Friday morning. Glocester Police said a 1990 Ford Mustang was driving east on Putnam Pike, near Farnum Road, at about 1:30 a.m on Friday when it lost control, went off the road and struck a tree. The driver and his passenger were both pronounced dead at the scene. Police have not identified the victims pending notification of their families. One is 17 and the other is 20.


The crash remains under investigation.
