Gen I SHO mirrors on Gen II

How do you swap Gen II(SHO) Side Mirrors for Gen I(SHO) Mirrors ? Does the trim need to be changed if so HOW shrug ?

Kurt Metros used to have it up on his site. Not sure if its still there though. www.kurtmetros.com ... I think.

Kurt had to do some trimming to his to get them to fit, while mine bolted right in with no modification. shrug

Are the mirrors on a Gen I SHO the same as the slo's? The GEN II mirrors seem to have a flat trim while the GEN I seem to have a curve at the bottom. So how can you just swap them? shrug

I believe so. I have a SLO mirror from when a previous owner clipped the old one off. Matches fine except for the finish.
