hey guys i went to see my local scrap guy the other day and he told me he just got a 97 sho in- had the chromes on it with yokohama Avid tires with prob 95% life left! scored all four with the tires for $300- to me that was a good deal seein how i sold my 18's last week and feel the 99 wheels are lame- so now when i go to sell my car it will have the chrome rims and the 99 rims! and i will for sure post some pics once i bolt them on with the silver on chrome rims with the drop!!!!

Cool deal...
But why don't you like the 99wheels? They are lighter than the chromies, and IMO look alot better than them as well.
I'd really like to get my hands on a set.

the chromies may be a lil heavier but im not woried about it! my 99 rims are going on my 93 build with some falken Azenis for some traction, i am excited to see my car with the chromies on it with the drop, i dont care the 96-98 wheels just loook way better just my .02- i think when i go to sell it also the chromies will appeal to more people than the blah ass 99 rims. im gonna have to say goodbye to my 99 for my 93 build- anyone sellin some boost? lol

$300 for the lot is an excellent deal. I recently picked up a second set of EOM Gen III chromes almost by accident. The dealer where I was getting tires turned out to have a virtually new set of 4 (no scratches, no chrome peeling at all) that had been sitting in his warehouse for years since he had not run across anyone that wanted them. I took them away and everyone was happy. :)

What is the name brand and size (18 ?) of those black wheels you had? Those looked really badass with that silver. I would love to put some black/chrome lip wheels on my black car.

I think the '99 wheels are the best looking factory sho/taurus wheels period. I love the 5 spoke with the "webbing", it just looks awesome....much better than the slicer, and if I was to keep my 11.6" brakes, I would have picked up a set of those wheels.
