fuel filler neck

Hi, does anyone know if the filler neck off the gen 1 will work on the gen 2?

Should, the tanks are the same and the fuel door is the same, so the part in between should be the same also.
The little door release thing is different, I found that out the hard way.

the fuel filler neck from any gen2, SHO or not is the same, so they should be no problem to find since there must be half a million of them sitting in junk yards around the country.

Yeah, I know about that door release as well. I was able to order a couple new ones.

I have a good fuel fill neck on a 90 SHO part car. I just hope it will fit.

Just to let you know what happened...the gen 1's do not match up the same as the gen 2's. Both are molded differently.
