After 2.5+ months of dealing with auto parts stores, aftermarket vendors and dealerships I finally found a brand new front tranny mount!!!:) My car has been useless to me.

I got really fed up and decided to call Ford!!! There is no reason why the part could not be found!!! I called their "Customer Relationship Center". My call was transfered a few times before I actually got through to someone. The rep. informed me that my part was "obsolete" and is no longer produced. I asked where I could find the part, someone had to have a few just laying around somewhere! He gave me a short lfst of vintage Ford part suppliers.

I have never been so lucky. The first center I called actually had them in stock! I asked for photos, sure enough. It was mount! I called back and placed the order. I ordered it Thursday and it was at my work this morning! Talking about service!!!:hail: :hail:

The mounts I have right now are completely new and unmolested. So I'll have to reinforce them!! I'm over 1 huge hurdle and can't wait to have my SHO back on the road!!!

awesome man! :thumb: Hey what are those #'s? It might be cool to have them up here for us to call for parts that might be needed and obsolete!

The front was $111. I've already made plans with the machine shop to have them reinforced. I'm going to have my old one reinforced too. How much do you charge?
