front leather seats

I was wiping the seats down on my 2015 and I noticed the driver and passenger seats leather just kinda hangs down in the front of them with a plastic clip attached to the leather. Is thus supposed to be like this? Or should I have this looked at? Anyone else's like this too?

There is a thread about this from a few years ago.
Yes, that comes unclipped. You can reach down and turn it under to reattach. There is a metal, full length bracket that it attaches to. However, it will pop lose next time someone sits in the seat.

My car is still under warranty. Should I have this repaired? My Limited didn't do this.

it doesn't cost anything to ask.

usually, they don't come unclipped unless someone rather large sits on the seat. sometimes, you can sort of crimp the plastic clip thing with a pliers to make it clip on tighter and thereby keep it from coming off.
