I was driving down the highway today for the first time in my new 92 sho and noticed a vibration around 70-75. This vibration was not violent but was enough that I could see the dash vibrating a little. This vibration came and went the whole ride, unfortunately I was not able to determine if the vibration ceased on a turn or when I accelerated. Are there some clues as to what is bad based on weather you acceleration, turn or start slowing down?

I also noticed that when I make a right turn at lower speeds, in a parking lot, I notice something like a slight groaning or maybe it sounds like something is rubbing for a few seconds. While driving, should the wheel feel consistent when going around turns or bends in the road? While I am driving, if I turn the wheel slightly it moves very easily, but the more I have to turn the wheel around a bend or turn the tighter the steering gets. If that makes sense.

the steering system on the show is called VAPS, variable power assist, in conjunction with the VSS vehicle speed sensor, and possibly some others, it has different settings/stiffness for different speeds. parking lots will be quicker and easier steering, and high way will be the least assitance.

the vibration can be caused by many worn suspension parts, and usually bad wheel bearings and offset wheel weights/imballanced tires.
