Got some of these to put on the blue car.

Do the bolts for these get torqued the same as the standard control arms? The set came with grade 8 bolts.

Any input would be good. Installing these tomorrow, or at least that is the plan. :nut:

Really, out of 50 peeps looking at this, no one can answer this question? I think I may have stumped the SHO Forum. :laugh_ti:

Probably the same torque, the ends are steel spherical bushings aren't they?

Whatever the stock torque is will be fine. That's another one of those parts that I just tighten till it feels right.

However tight you can get a hose clamp...

Seriously, stock spec +10%, or spec for the fastener involved, either or.

Tight.

I use the torque wrench on crankshafts, camshafts, heads, etc. Everything else -- especially body/chassis parts -- the "torque spec" is a very broad suggestion. I couldn't tell you 99% of them, and have never had a car fall apart on me.

I was trying to think of a clever tire wall comment, but I was drawing a blank, and I feel its been done already.
