this is gonna be my first car im buying it off my mom for only a $1000 its a 94 atx (had that problem of cutting out while still being on, so we took it too the ford dealer put $1000 in sensors and such, still did it took it somewere else put another grand in it then filanny it stopped so it has all the new sensors and a new water pump) w/ 150,000 never had the 60k or 120k done :-( and i was thinkin of i start to race it that something could go wrong and cost even more so i was thinking of buying new heads w/ better cams, bigger valves, new springs the whole nine yards i know this would be expensive but wouldnt it be better then jsut doing a 60k or 120k tune up and having something go wrong and then haveing to pay more well im jsut trying to find out which would be better i plan on this being a daily driver and the weekend racer

Try punctuation, and taking it to a mechanic who knows these cars. The 60k service is a key point to owning a SHO, and will most likely enhance the performance of your car somewhat. These cars like maintenance and will treat you in kind if you're good to them. Welcome to the forum, and congratulations on your new SHO.
