:) There is that. But I do not do that often enough in the SHO for it to matter, really. Did anyone ever come up with a way to fix that? I recall a lot of discussion about it forever ago, but do not remember what the conclusions were.

I want to say about 10 years ago, a frequent poster named Chris Archer (Mr Anonymous) put up some information about a fix.

If I recall, he stated that a wire on the back of the instrument cluster had to be upsized. Once that wiring modification was completed, the speedo would continue to climb beyond 120 mph on the '98's.

Thanks Eric. I suppose I should go looking about to find that. I admit it is not a great concern these days, as if I am going to go that fast, I do it in the 911 these days. But you never know. I will see what I can find.
