went to a buddy shop today and used his fancy shop scanner ive had aongoing issue when the car is cold it will spit sputter hesitate and run like crap then as soon at it starts to warm up it clearsup and all is good
i got
157 code mass air is/was low or grounded - maf
173 oxygen sensor, not switching, single, left or rear . fuel control
211 ignition pip erratic or missing . ignition system
it had a 60 about 3 weeks before i got the car new water pump all factory parts that could be used were used
i cleared the codes today and it seems to be running much better
i plan to replace both o2 sensors this weekend just to make sure since the ones in the car look to be the factory ford sensors and i will clean and check the engine grounds today
should i go ahead and replace the crank sensor anyways ??

If you didn't change the CPS when you replaced the water pump, I would replace the CPS. 211 is one of the codes a bad crankshaft position sensor can set.

every single time I have ever seen a 211 code, it was a bad crank sensor. even Ford parts have infant failures, so I would replace it asap. bad crank sensors leave you stranded. at night. in the rain. when you are late to an important event.

it also looks like either your mafs is bad, or the wiring to it is bad. I would try cleaning it and the connector, but expect to replace it.

a bad or sick mafs will also result in a o2 code, so ignore that until you have the first 2 issues resolved.
