Im not sure ... im going to have to go to a local discount tire and see what would be best. Hopefully they will be able to work with me to changing several tires to see what would look best and keep em from hitting the flares(trial and error? ). Ofcourse that will be once i get the rims.

Talking about the rims, I have been looking in to getting adapters made so i can bolt up the rims which has a bolt pattern of 5X114.3. But i think my best bet will be to change the hub with the one from the mustang. I think they are 114.3 ... any body know for sure? I will research it. I will have to go to the junk yard, pick some up and test. I will have to redrill my rotors, but thats not a problem. I just think i will have better option on rims than when using the adapters. I have been quoted to be 65 dlls a piece. So i think i will go to the junkyard soon.

Well ... im picking up my headliner today. All in suede! looks awesome (Pics soon!). Right now im working on the interior plastic pieces. All of them will be sanded and primered to flatten the surface. Here is the first piece to test how it would look. Here is what i found today when i came in to work.

I have also been working on the carpet. I got the new one and its black. Since it dont come precutt i had to put it on top of the old one and used a single edge razor blade. Worked pretty well. Took about half hour to do all the cuts for vents, wires and holes for the seats. I will have to cut a bit more once i put it back on the car.

Hopefully the car will be done in the next month or 2 .... GOD WILLING!

I doubt you will be able to get mustang hubs to bolt right in. Since they are RWD the front hubs will not have the splines for the CV joints and usually with RWD cars the hub and axle is all 1 piece. I know that even between the different years that the Taurus was out, the hubs were redesigned in the way that they are installed into the knuckles and they are not interchangable.

You best bet would be to have the holes in your existing hubs welded up and then new holes drilled for your desired lug pattern.

114.3x5 is probably the most common bolt pattern so you should have a very nice selection. That is the pattern used on all modern Nissans(FWD&RWD) and of course the Mustang.

I'd also choose that pattern because the cars that use it have similar weights to the taurus, therefore the wheels should hopefully be able to support the weight. If you chose the pattern that is used on Hondas, you might have a problem since they tend to be lighter cars, and the wheels are not designed to hold the weight of a heavier car.

Good luck with the car, it's very impressive so far! :thumb:
