Im already looking for 19 inch rims for the car. Once its done i will be looking into sponsorship. Maybe i can make a good magazine in the near future.

Ive always loved the deep-dish look, but wont the offset royally mess up the wheel-bearings? By increasing the area outside the bearing, and not the inside proportionally, the bearing can become racked, which can be detrimental to a bearing. Just a thought...

Hold on here, so aftermarket rims and painted plastic mirrors make you say gorgeous? j/p

I think the shaved body lines on both sides of the car is what is hot and the shaved door handles just make it look cleaner.

Minor yet nice mod.

On these picure you can see that the rear is being worked on too. Some kind of stretching was done. Well heres the idea i had of moding the fuel door with an AUDI TT unit but that was a hefty 400 dollars. So i went with Ford Racing Unit (only $100 on ebay). and this is how it looks.

I say blah to the racing gas door. Looks tacky. The whole project seems to be coming along nicely, though. Can't wait to see the final product.

Also, keep me updated on availability of the flares, I was going to do this myself, but if there is already a set available, I would consider a purchase too.

Oh course, if you've got the wheels and flares going at once, I'd have to see the finished combo. Looks gorgeous so far.

That sounds much better than its current condition. How about some new pics and news?

The hole car has been sanded down and pretty much ready to prime.
They are currently working on the rear flares. Both rear sides have the flare on it already but one side is almost done. Then they have to go into the details of all 4 flares, making sure everything is nicely lined up. The flares do have to be continued on the front and rear bumpers.

I have some pictures of that ... i will take some more today and post them tonight.

Also, there is 2 people that are interested in the mold flares and not the hole fender itself w/flares. Both are possible. But i think the flare mold will be more economical yet it might yield different results.
I know that people want to see the finished product. But once the car is painted thats it ... they will not be able to make copies of the flares since it would ruin the finish. They will be able to make them up until when the car is primed.

I want to help anybody who is interested. Plus i would like to see my idea of the flares on other SHOs too!

Alrighty ... here we go again ... more pictures...
I have finally selected the color that the car is going to be painted. And as a tester i used the center console which i sanded down an eliminated all texture.

The first picture the console has been cleared the second 2 have not... a little of a difference after the clearing.

And here is more on the acutal flares ... about 2 inches in the rear. I have not yet measured the front since the fenders are currently not on the car.

I saw a few copper hued cars on the road the other day and really liked how they looked. Nice choice.
