This weekend I'm gonna take some body parts of the engineless Titanium beast. The engine is gone, no front subframe(car on bricks) and it seems like it will be easy as **** to take all these parts off.

My question(s)...are there any tricks/methods I should know about before I do this. The foglights just un-plug from somewhere right? Are there any hidden nuts/bolts that need to be taken off that I will never find? I think I can handle this one, I just want to be sure. Thanks in advance for any help I get!

The bumper comes off very easily. Just 8 bolts towards the front.....watch out for dirt dropping in your face when you start removing the bolts. After the bolts are off you just pull the bumper away from the car and it is off. Make sure all the wires are unplugged first. If you are taking off the fenders, they are a bit tougher. Take out the inner fender well first, it will make the job much easier. You will need a phillips screw driver, some metric sockets, long extensions, and large allen wrenches to get the fender off. Be careful with the bolts since rust makes them very easy to strip the heads, especially the allen head bolt one.

Here is a walk-thru for the front fenders (I did this not too long ago on my '90, plus I work at a junk yard and take fenders off all the time).

1. Remove 3 bolts from top of fender where hood rests. I believe these are 8mm.

2. Open the door. Near the top there is another 8mm bolt. For this one, a really long extension (like 15" or so) will come in handy.

3. Kneel right where the door meets the fender. Look under the car, and you'll see two 10mm bolts. The side skirts will have to come off to effectively work on these bolts; I simply used a side cutter on the fake plastic screws Ford used when attaching the side skirting. Those plastic screws don't come out, they just turn, at least for me they did. Also, there are two pieces for the lower cladding, so you only have to take the front piece off.

4. Remove inner fender well. These screws tend to get a little rusty.

5. Remove bolts at front of fender holding it on to the upper frame rails of the engine compartment.

Once all of that is done, it may take a little coaxing, but the fender should be free from the car. Be very careful not to bend or dent the fender when removing it, since it can be pretty easy to do that if you're careless.
