Mk. Recently bought my 90 sho. I was told there was a clog of some kind in the exhaust so i went under there and did the "whack" test and i dont hear anything movin around in there, has the hollow thud. Then unplugged the MAF and switched it out with a different one, no real change. Checked plugs and firing order, no problems there either. Could the culprit possible be the o2 sensors? The CEL isnt on or anything, and for the most part the car doesnt die or stumble and it does still pull nice just doesnt feel like its up to par with what it should be? Am I missing something or am I just expecting to much from my car lol.

Thanks for any ideas
Andrew

Dyno is your only answer. If it's putting out less than about ~170whp then something's off. That'll also give you an AFR reading. If it is less, something's wrong. If it isn't, your expectations are too high.

pretty sure theres a dyno around here somewhere so ill try that to. ill try pullin the y-pipe sometime this week when i have a lift at my disposal b/c i dont fit under that car as well as id like plus the slanted drive way poses a problem for any kind of lengthy work under the car lol

yea check for codes before anything else like stated above i wouldnt waste the money on the dyno just to tell you SOMETHING isnt right codes will give you a better direction to look than just bad dyno numbers

narrowed down the problem to plugs and wires, possibly in need of a new coil pack. thanks for the responses guys :)

No problem Btw guys it had no codes.
We pulled all the plug and found one of them to be clean never used so we know cylinder number 2 was not working.
