Ok so I'm on a budget and want exhaust for our SHO. I know SHO Source has a kit with no mufflers but weed, $529.99 is a heavy price for just pipes and clamps. So i have seen a few budget friendly builds in Magazines have used the guys at www.trubendz.com out of Miami, FL.

There pricing is really nice and they have options on the Tubing Kits. Aluminum and SS Options. But i want Stainless Steel of course. Here is how there pricing breaks down.

2.5" Aluminum is $170 on average
3" Aluminum is $245 on average
2.5" SS is $270 on average
3" SS is $345 on average

Im just seeing if anyone else is interested?

I talked to one of there builders and he said if there are some of the cars in a salvage yard or Pull-A-Part in his area it would be very easy. Thats is how they make most of there kits. But a driving car is always better, is there anyone in the South FL area with a running car(s) that might be willing to let them look at your exhaust. Auto and Manuals?

Yes this is coming from SHO Source so take it for what it is worth.

Dynomax with it's cheaper options stopped making the exhaust. Since we have the only option on the market we have not been selling lots of kits either. It is saturated market already. They will be lucky to make their investment on the tooling.

We tried to do a 3" option for boost and we failed to get enough people. We can't even get enough ATX guys. I think we have sold to less then 5 ATX guys for the entire run so far.

Also the pricing seems low. You should be quoting the Contour Catback since that is what would be the closest option. That is $345 and $445 for 2.5". The SHO exhaust is even more complex then the Contour kit as well.

I know you want to save money but this is due to our costs for the kit. You don't have very many SHO vendors left.

Serious question, as I've never even priced it, but are catbacks in a kit usually less expensive than a custom job?

They tend to be since they are per-fabricated. You also have the benefit of doing it on your own.
