Ok sorry for hijacking this thread. Has anyone tried the Monroe Quick Strut
part# 271616 ? It says taxi and I can see the difference in the spring.
Or will the ass end ride too high? I searched and nothing came up about it.

I was wondering bout that ... My car sets a little low in the rear and thats why I went with the whole strut set up.The 271616 according to amazon would not work on my car.

Amazon says they fit my 95.
The reason I was thinking of getting these
was so once I install my couple few hundred lbs of stereo
the car will still ride nice.

The 71781 "s work good . the car sets level now as before it was a little low in the rear. Now I can hear the front right strut grinding when I turn the wheel.

That will be later.

Well Amazon is wrong. When it says 94+ compatable it should indicate it is wrong becasue the suspension is different for 89-95 and 96+

Ok. You should tell Monroe because their website says they fit too! That being said. I think the ride would be harsh when the car had no weight in it. But it seems that no one on the forum has tried them.
