Can someone tell me where the fan relay is located? My fan is not coming on at high temps, or with the ac. The ac is not blowing out cold air, i'm not sure if it needs a charge, or if the compressor went bad. I'd like to jump the relay to test out the fan.

The Fan Relay Is Located Inside The Constant Control Relay Module(ccrm). This Also Contains The Fuel Pump High And Low Relays, the Wide Open Throttle A/c Cutoff Relay. It Has 24 Pin And Is Located Under The Black Plastic Thing On Top Of You Radiator Support. The Black Plastic Thing Has Your Emmisions Label Stuck To It And Has I Think 5 Screws Holding It On. The Ccrm Is A Square Black Metal Box. I Believe It Has To Be Replaced As A Whole Unit. The Pcm Also Has A Part In Controling The Fan.

To test the fan, just unplug it from the harness and jumper it to the battery.

Ya, I was thinking that. I thought I saw 3 wires going to the motor though. All of the wires around that area are all wrapped up in wire loom, and it has been raining today so i didn't really get a good look. Are there in fact 3, and if so which one is positive and which one is negative? Or am I just seeing things? If the fan turns out to be OK I'll have to operate it manually for awhile, kinda broke right now. My Jeep just got smashed yesterday with me in it, it sucked real bad. The SHO needs alot of work, and I haven't driven it in weeks. When I drove it to the store today, the climate control lit up with all 8's for a second, and the ABS light came on. What the **** is that? When I drove back home it was fine.

Hmmm, well the fan only works on high speed then, because I tried all of the wires, the only ones that work are the blue and black. What I did was just tie in a switch and a fused power line, so I can manually operate the fan, it's all I can really do right now. Looks like I'll be replacing the fan motor, for sure. Does anyone know how to test the temp sensor to see if it's good or bad? Thanks for the help so far everyone.

you can run a self test on the car. it will tell you if it is out of range. there are three codes for out of range 116,117,or 118. the sensor has two wires. the computer sends a 5v signal to the sensor through the green with a red stripe as the coolant heats up the return voltage throught the sensor drops and it is sent through the grey wire with a red stripe to the pcm. the voltage at the grey/red wire should be around 3.5 volts with a cold engine and the voltage should drop to less than .5 volts when the engine is hot.

my climate control shows all 8's when I start my car and the air bag light stays on for a second. I think this is normal. if it's not i will have to check it out.
