ok. i i was recently going over a rough patch of road and noticed that the ride in the SHO was "harder" than my sable. at first i just attributed this to the fact that the SHO has a different suspension. well when i was under the car checking out the exhaust and up front swapping outer tie rod ends i noticed that the struts and shocks are blue. i'm wondering what color is factory setup? and is there a way to find out if i have an aftermarket setup. the girl i bought the car from has no info about it and the owners before her are unavailable to me. :thankyou:

If your struts are blue, they're Tokicos (unless somebody painted them [unlikely]). Hopefully, you'll have some Eibach springs on there as well... or intrax springs, which are purple.

Tokicos are no longer manufactured for the SHO. They are quite a bit firmer than stock... I have a set on my 94 ATX.

Tokicos are a light blue, while MonroMatics are a darker blue. Definately not stock struts unless they were painted.

Mine are blue, and I don't think there are any stickers on them anymore. No idea what brand they are.
