I just went thru the process of reading my codes and I got:
551 Problem in Intake Manifold Runner Control (IMRC) solenoid/circuit - Solenoids
157 (R,M) Mass Air Flow signal is/was low or grounded - MAF
158 (O,R,M) MAF sensor is/was high or short to power - MAF
216 (M) Primary circuit failure - ignition coil 2 - Ignition Systems

I realize there's a problem with the MAF, but what is it exactly, or what do you suggest to fix the problem???

The only mod i know of is that I bought the car with a big intake.. like 4", which is 108mm or something(I dont know the make). However, the air filter was really old and it seemed to choke the engine and it even stalled sometimes, so i just bought a new cone K&N (rp-4660 if i remember corretly). After the quick installation, my Check Engine light came on alsmot instantly.. this seemed to choke it even more. I tightened my MAF sensor wires with some zip ties, and the light went off.. but it still drives bad.. When I come up to a redlight for instance, the car sometimes will drop down below 500rpms and back to idle several times, and occasoinally it stalls.. which sucks when it turns green. I was reading SHOtimes and it seemed to me that battery connections are bad.. which was why the computer is not reacting to the change and how it stalls? besides this.. any suggestions would be nice./

is the MAF stock? Or is it another unit? are all the vacuum lines connected, do a once over and make sue all electrical is connected, and any vacuum lines are connected. if not, take her for a spin and see what that does. I have another suggestion, I will need my SHO bible (7 different books) to get the correct proceedure, but I will get it and respond then! :thumb:

Going to check all lines today and might change the plugs as well, but to answer your Question, I'm pretty sure its not stock, I'm not familiar with other SHO intakes.. so if I saw under the hood of another then I could tell you.

Thanks Morpho for the pic.. so to answer your question, no its definately not stock. I think the guy used the same sensors.. but the tubing before the sensors is rubber, but looks like a bent, black Pbc pipe.. then its the MAF/sensors, then a ****** which my K&N universal cone filter goes over.. I'm doing my best to explain but its definately different..
