Have any of you guys had any exhaust valves fail??? I was wondering how durable the 3.0 valves are. Mine seem to have "machined circles" in the face of the valve. Is this normal??? Are my valves going to fail??? Any advice is appreciated... rant

half-way there, I think.
That sounds normal to me. It is very rare that valves are a problem on any motor. Unless the engine was run very lean which can burn the exhaust valves or warp the intake valves.

Do you have a picture of the valve that you are worried about??

No valve problems after 272,700 miles (knocking on wood). Compression numbers are still within allowed range for new engines.

In that case, you'd better worry more about your differential and engine mounts than your valves.
