Yeah, and it is WAAAYYY louder than you would ever imagine.

Enough to rattle windows at idle.

And need ear muffs at revs.

Yea but it sounds like a damn stock car... and is sexy as ****! :) I remember when my Y pipe pooped on me, and I went with the "free flow" mod... :)

Nothing subtle at all with the car at that point. :) I think the sound waves at the back of the car actually help push you forward creating "horsepower" lol I dunno I liked it, but yelling at the person sitting next to you inside the car gets old kinda quick.

Also a lot of tracks have some sort of noise restrictions.

You could go with a free flowing y-pipe and catback from SHO Source...

I've always wanted to retain the dual exhaust look but i think straight pipes would be sick I would love to see someone make a x-pipe for the SHO so i could have dual exhaust. Maybe some CUSTOM exhaust would seem cool. I've always wondered if you would lose power with a x pipe compared to Y-pipe (in v'8s i think you gain but you don't need as much back pressure) Since i've heard you lose power from swapping out?

I miss my straight pipes. NO CATs or anything.

It did sound like a stock car though. I'll never forget the looks on peoples faces when they saw where that noise was coming from!:eek:
