Engine Removal

Hey can anyone give me tips on how to remove a bad engine from a 91 sho? I heard I might be up against some trouble???

I'd remove it via the bottom, just take the whole subframe with it. Theres lots of info, just do a search.

I did a search on google but didn't find much. Do you know of a specific site I should be looking on?

Have you ever pulled a motor before? Depending on the equipment you have and your preference it can come out from the top or bottom. I prefer the top and others prefer the bottom.

Not out of this paticular car. Heard it was a little bit more challenging than most.

The engine comes out fairly quick I pull the motor and trans from the top.

Cool, I did find one posting of the entire engine removal out of the bottom. Why is it that alot of people prefer to pull the motor out of the bottom instead of the top?

Alot easier from the bottom, because then it doesn't move around you when removed, and you can address suspension issues while it is out.

Does anyone have any info on were to find a engine rebuild kit for one of these? I looked at all the normal places and can not find one.
