I need the engine harness with the plug that goes to the computer. It is an M code ccrm. I have a harness with a D code ccrm and it has a different plug that feeds the interior harness. I have no idea if the ccrm is what determines the harness or the year. The one I need is for a '92, the '95 harness wont work.

The harness I need has two plugs to feed the interior harness they are grey and black. The harness that wont fit has one large square plug to feed the interior harness.

It's for a '92 mtx with federal emissions.

The M code CCRM is for the manual transmission cars up to and including 1993.

The D code CCRM is for the manual transmission cars of 1994 and 1995.

I would try to get the wiring harness for the exact year that you have (1992). The wiring colours and the connector colours and shapes often change even if the wiring architecture is the same.

Thank you. I'm fairly certain it wont solve my issue but at least I have 1/2 a spare engine harness!

Everything else looked to be the same but I didn't get that far when I was about to make the swap. Thankfully I realized before it got far.

Below is what I need. I'll take a pic of the other harness when i'm nearby.

I think the big differences are the alternator connection and the 2 - speed radiator fan on the newer harness, but there are lots of differences that are not so apparent.

I only need the half of the harness with the ecm, ccrm connector and the single speed fan.

Well after feeling hope like I haven't felt in years, twice, I got two of the wrong harnesses.

At least I now know to not just click send through paypal when I truly can't make out the pictures.

This first picture is what I need, I gotta have a black plug instead of grey by the two male pin female receptacle 10ga plugs by the CCRM plug. My harness also has no plug in the middle of the four grey and black plugs. It's not brown/grey as i've seen. Mine has none.

The second picture is what is on the two harnesses I just purchased and it's what I don't need. If your harness has a brown plug between the four grey and black plugs in the middle of the harness it's useless to me. I have two already. My harness has no plug between the four grey and black plugs pictured. The last two pictures are for reference it's what I do not need I have two of them.
