Anyone know how to get that bolt thats on the firewall where you can get to the EGR tubing to clean it. Its a hex bolt. Apparently, I stripped it nicely.. Thoughts?? Thanks.

It is a 'torx' if I remembe properly. I stripped one on my spare intake, had to drill it out and put a new plug in. But, I had the intake off the car and in pieces so it made the drilling process a bit easier.

Sears probably has some cool Craftsman tool for problems such as this, I would go investigate.

Yeah, was thinking of hitting up Sears and trying to find something.. Damn they really put those bolts in..

Shot in the dark if someone had a "magical" fix for these things.. haha..

After that bolt, I stripped a valve cover bolt.. OyVeh

Word to the wise.. Use heat if your taking out yoru EGR tube hex bolts.. I guess, metallurgy, aluminum/steel bind over time or something.. Anyways, heat made the damn things come out easily.
