I bought OEMs, so I'm not looking for any. But for those looking for a pair, thought this would be a cool alternative.

Enjoy!

I like 'em.
But I can't tell if the lenese is fogged around the edges and only leaveing the cneter clear. Or if that's just a reflection of a cars door window.
I'd like to get a set for my HIDs. I was trying to get an all black themed headlight, and their it is:thumb:
But it'll be awhile before I can afford those. Got plenty of other stuff on the plate right now

a stock headlight and a can of black paint works wonders for a Black housing for a HID projector retro

I'm sorry, but "Taurus" and "JDM" will never, in my mind, belong in the same category. Valid or not...the fact is the whole "JDM" craze is just ridiculous.

Please excuse my ignorance on this... What is "JDM" that's being frowned on?
I'm not familiar as to what that's short for.

JDM.....Japanese Domestic Market....it's what all the lil honda boys want on their car to make it "special". basically it's stuff that's only available through the japanese market. Mostly import stuff, and this is honestly the first time I've heard of a JDM part for an Amercian car........

I think we all and realize that their not real JDM products. Their a JDM style. Unless the seller wants to show us where on the housing it says the manufactor is JDM.
And I think buying these would be alot better than trying to ake aprt the husing to paint everythign black. I'm sure some peopel have done it and can do it gaian, cause they know how to do it now. But I'd rather just spend the 120 dollars and have brand new housings that were black.

Okay, thanks for the explanation. I too was thinking of buying a couple new housings (mine are a bit foggy), so they looked interesting to me.
I might try to get some of the fogginess out next year yet, we'll see.

Only thing is, the black housings won't work all that well with regular headlights, due to lack of reflectors. You wouldn't be able to see a damn thing. If you're gonna do it, I'd convert to projectors.
