My boost-a-pump seemed to add about 200 psi to low FRP range, based on my logging. It helps but isn't the final solution.

Will you have to run a larger fuel line when you are able to increase volume of LPFP?
I know the G8 guys have, and because that system has a return line,, they use the original feed line as the return.

Maybe start looking into fuel pump internals. I needed those when i was running e85 on my speed3. Im not sure if its the same with the sho's but the ones i used were from KMD who made them for audi a3(they worked on the speeds).

Problem is with DI pump... No known higher volume alternative at this point. 4DRHTRD is having Squash modify his LPFP for more volume so he can run E-85 plus WET Nitrous system. It's a work in progress. Our fuel system is returnless, so the jury is out as to whether we will need a larger fuel line. As it stands, E-85 cannot be used safely at WOT with tuning and everything else stock. All this is based on logging data that shows what happens to Lambda #s for both banks when doing WOT testing or at the strip.

I think I've figured out how to run E85 without upgrading the in tank fuel pump. I'm going to feed my 1 gallon jaz fuel cell and use it as a surge tank. I'm going to start with two auxillary injectors fed by my aux fuel tank/pump setup to see if that's enough to make up for the lack of fuel from my stock system. If not I'll have the factory intake manifold configured for 6 injectors and make a complete port fuel injection setup for my car.
Here's a great article from the mazdaspeed guys who are a few years ahead of us BUT have the same issues we do, DI and big HP.

http://www.mazdaspeedforums.org/forum/f303/lets-talk-about-pi-setups-133321/

There's a ton of crap talking on that forum but also some great technical information as well. I am still working with Squash performance on doing an upgraded dual ITFP setup but it will necessitate the installation of a new fuel line and utilization of the stock line as a return line. The beauty of using the completely stock fuel system and a surge tank is that you don't have to upgrade the ITFP, HPFP or DI injectors, just add 2 to 6 (I'll find out eventaully) aux fuel injectors, a fuel cell and fuel pump/fuel pressure regulator and aux injector controller and you're done. Sounds difficult but actually quite easy and E85 will blow the DOORS OFF meth injection for HP/Torque or even race gas with meth injection.

Be especially interesting when the E85 project hits the road AND the engine doesn't turn into a parts diagram :)

Aux injector mount showed up today, ordering the controller next week. Just waiting for my car to get back from the manufacturer that's building the new downpipes for our cars. :)

Anybody try a small mix (couple gallons) on stock tune? Should lean out just a tad. Worked well on my last turbo car. Anyone experiment with this (non-tune)?

I did and worked with Torrie to tune. With a 6 gal 91/2 gal E85 I was running out of fuel on the stock fuel system, I had to use my nitrous kit fuel solenoid to augment the fuel to compensate. However with that setup I could run my 100 octane tune which was good for [email protected] with my car. :)
