I haven't heard of any SHO's that have them. but I would be curious to hear what the under 4.0L one and the over 4.0L one sound like on a SHO

i mean im sure it would do a little bit but something makes me think your gonna lose more power then gain... it probley will help a little tq.

from what i read there is a flap in there that opens when the back pressure gets enough to make it go wide open. hence creating backpressure..

in a complete straight threw exhaust of a larger size this might be good but if your exhaust is built right this will just add restriction

cool find tho

actually this would be cooler on dual chambered muffs since i personally think dual chambers sound meaner... flowmaster 40 series comes to mind

I might be giving one of these a try,I have to quiet my exhaust some.

I'm with you on that. My S/C is quieter than my exhaust, but there is a hole or two in the mufflers. I got some "new to me" Dynomax to put on tomorrow and see if that helps. Right now I have too much drone and rasp. ****, I laugh at the way it sounds. Fucquin hate it.

alot of the reviews I read, from what I gathered was that over half the people with under 4.0L engines that got the under 4.0L muffler said that the valve opens too easily with basically the tap of the gas pedal. a lot were thinking of getting the over 4.0L muffler. but you are also turbo'd so I don't know how that will effect things?
