Thanks to Kirk for hauling the 91 up to the dyno!

95 ATX, 190hp, 18X Tq (have to find the sheets - I may need to have him reprint).

91 SC'd, 419hp, unknown tq (so I'm told). After the series of pulls (after MANY frustrating attempts to find & fix the CLICK! on turning the key), I blew a coolant line & puked on the dyno. The attendees helped QUICKLY pull the car off the rollers, and pushed the car off. Unfortunately, Dean's using new software, and the program crashed, killing off my last run, and on restart, the computer said one of my 3 remaining runs on the books was now 408hp (?!?!?!?!). So, there were witnesses, and I'm looking for anyone there who may have seen the tq numbers to go with the 419 run. :)

It was a great turnout, with about 10 people running, and about 20 or so attending. I think the nicest runs I saw were Steve Bowen's 3.2L 91, pulling 206hp in an as-pulled 3.2L boneyard engine w/ a Pro-M 77mm. Must be a Monday car, huh Steve? :)

Yes, and according to steve, 211 ft/lbs. The motor in steve's 91 is strong, I've driven that car, it's fast. Steve ran a 14.6@97+ in that thing with stock MAF/exhaust. Before I moved to GA, we did a few runs on 87 from a stop, it took me till about 3rd gear in the 89 to pull clear of him.

IIRC it had 34k on the motor when we installed it, still has 3.2L cams to.

he needs to bring it down to GA, he still owes me a couple of passes in that car at the drags :)

gained some power .. best runs for the SLO were 130.90 hp/ 150 ft.lbs at the wheels.. 157.08/180 at the crank. Not bad for a stock 140hp car

I told you Chop that making a hole in the floorboard and using peddle power [Flinstone style] would gain you some torque.

Dyno day

Had a good time, got to meet some people. According to the print out, I got a 194 whp/don't remember what the torque was, didn't print. The only thing was, that 194 was with the loop-dee-loop, the actual was probably 180-185.
The only thing I ....click, click..... remember about...click, click....Freds car was.....click, click..........gush, gush.....pushing it out of the garage. No, I guess in all fairness, I think it was reading low 3's whp & mid 2's torque. Alright, yes he did hit 419 whp and not a real clear on the torque, but it was either 308 or 348, but I'm guessing there. I was too impressed with the hp to be checking anything else. Nicely done!! Well I've got my base, for my car, so now let the fun begin. Sorry I had to bail right at the end, had a little family emergency (nothing serious), had to run home. Thanks again to all, I had a good time.

Rob, it was nice meeting you, hope you can make it to some other events this year too.

Tq was probably honestly 308lb-ft. My previous max was 314 from memory, and I don't think I picked up 40lb-ft with the cool air. :) Thanks for the tip-off.

As for the ignition click, that was really ******* me off. Top the day off with a coolant puke, followed by a spun rod bearing on the 95 ATX, and it was quite a day.

I AM glad that Dean finally decided to start cooking. I'm pretty sure he thought if he waited long enough he'd get out of it. :)
