I am installing new sway bar endlinks, and the new Duralast ones have a white mark on one end. I have looked at the ShoTimes website and they say the a red mark indicates placement on the right side of the car and green a placement on the left side of the car. AZ could not help me and have not found a link for this on the forum. What is the correct placement of these endlinks. Thanks

I'm guessing they're fronts, and plastic? If so, the Ford ones were normally marked with "right up" and "left up" or top... something to that effect. I'd take a guess that the white mark indicates the end they want you to install into the strut end.

These are a steel shaft with a link on each end and have no engraving on them at all. I am guessing that maybe white mark goes up on one side of the car and down on the other side. Both are for the front of the car. If I can't find any other info. I'm will put the white mark up on the right side of the car and down on the left side of the car.

As long as you can reach whatever grease fittings the endlinks have when installed, I don't see how it would matter which side is up. The moog ones have instructions to install with the upper grease fitting facing backwards or something, but the duralast links I have installed have the grease fitting in the center of the joint so it wouldn't matter which end was up.

Ok thanks , I have alredy installed them. We'll see what happens. I was just alittle confused because there were a couple postings that said it did matter. But looking at the endlinks, it seemed like it would not matter.
