I had a service engine light come on about 2 months ago and I have had it diagnosed by a mechanic. I am told that I need a new Pressure Feedback Sensor and EGR Solenoid. I have purchased both of these parts but have not been able to find a repair manual for the car. Basically, I just need to know how to replace these/where I can find them in the engine. The mechanic only quoted me 40 minutes for replacing them so it can't be too hard to get to.

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

I don't know about the EGR solenoid, but the DPFE (delta pressure feedback sensor) is located on the rear side of the intake manifold (near the firewall). It has like two hoses coming out of it, and an electrical connector. It's kindof a tight squeeze to access it, but it can be done. If you still have trouble getting to it, just remove the cowl assembly. That makes it easier (but longer). This seems to be a very common failure item on these cars.

Good to know...I am glad it is a common failure, that means that hopefully they read the codes right. It has 135K on it so I expect this type of thing to happen. Is that normal? Thanks for your help!
