replaced DPFE not even a month ago cause I got a 332 code. ECL light went out for 3 weeks. now I drive 2 miles and get code 332 back after resetting computer. with my vacuum gauge, I get no vacuum on the line going to EGR at idle or when engine revved up. EGR does work cause when I apply vacuum to EGR, car almost stalls. If I get no vacuum into EGR and all vauum lines are good, does this mean I got a bad DPFE? what brand/part # should I get if this is the culprit?

after doing a search, could it be I have a bad EVR solenoid? how much are these? anyone have a part #? I hate to guess and just buy parts but I really think the EGR is working and it's not a clogged lines problem. I thinks it's one of these 2 parts.

You will never see vacuum at the EGR valve with the car standing still, at idle, etc. It generally only opens at constant throttle cruise.

You could have a bad EGR solenoid (you can test it at idle by disconnecting the harness applying 12vdc to it and it should open the valve), blocked passages in the two tubes from the EGR pipe to the DPFE sensor, or quite possibly a bad or incorrect DPFE sensor.

I had this problem myself. A few 100mph jaunts down the freeway seemed to fix it. No CEL since, and no more codes.

I do not endorse this behavior in fixing your car. It just seemed to work for me.

found my problem. the green plastic vacuum line going to EGR had a black plastic insulator on a section. I slid the plastic insulator down and found the green plastic line had cracked into 2. I joined both ends with a rubber vacuum line. now no more CEL.
