Door speakers!

So I have some Dayton reference 7" speakers. I want to put them in the front doors. I'm worried that I am going to take the door apart and realize it's going to take major fabrication and cutting the interior door panels.

Has anyone put speakers in the front doors and had issues with the windows clearing the magnet?

Do you think 7's will fit in 6.5" holes without too much work?

I just like to find out as much as I can before I take interior panels apart.

The major fab is gonna be making the adapter bracket which is gonna need to be at least a half inch to three quarters thick

That's pretty easy, thanks. I've got some 5/8 HDF and a circle cutting jig for my router. I'll have it ready.

I like doing doors at my leisure in the winter time so I can use a little heater to keep the garage warm and get dynamat tacky at the same time.
