My car has acquired a new quirk. The door locks sometimes will not lock. I first noticed this when walkin away, pressing the lock button on the remote, and hearing the horn beep. One time I happened to be close enough to the car to see the doors weren't locked. I opened the drivers door and after pressing the lock button a few times, finally got them to lock. Unlocking is no problem. This has happened about three times in the last couple of days.
Question: Since they all either work or not, and since this is probably the lock realy, Where is the relay located?
Thanks
Bill

That is coming out of the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) module. It is located by the right rear strut top in the trunk under the package tray. I sent the wire diagrams via email.

One thing I didn't mention, this car was originally built without key less entry, I had it added later.

Since I didn't get your email, I looked at, and updated my profile. (I had to change the email account because I responded to all of those ads. Now, I have a ***** that is fourteen miles long. The credit card companies are paying me. My car gets such good mileage that I have to stop every few miles and remove gas from the tank ;>)
Email works now
Thanks

It's the OEM unit, purchased form Ford. Neither the remotes, or either door switch will lock the doors. The remote, and both door switches will unlock the doors. It started out intermitently, the remote failed to lock, pressing the door switch a couple of times would straighten it out for a while. After it sat overnight, nothing will lock the doors except pushing down all four buttons.
Thanks

Seeing as the RKE module activates the locks through the drivers door lock switch I would assume the problem is there or associated to it. The fact that the switch does not work points specifically to a problem here.
