doing cobra upgrade

I need some help finding pads to put on for my cobra upgrade, I would like to have low dust and good bite any advice is welcome. :thankyou:

Good cold bite? Good hot bite? Track ready pad?

I don't know that there's a low dust pad that is up to sustained high temperatures, to be honest.

They dust alot, but I'm a fan of EBC Yellowstuff for the Cobra 13" upgrade.

Ditto on the Yellows. They are going to be my next pad. The green's are suppose to be a low dust pad, but at the expense of overall bite.

I'd just stick to the greens if you only drive the car hard sometimes. If you take the car to track then pick up the yellows.

I do no track becasue I show my car and dont want to hurt the paint or anything else. I have also been recommended to PFC pads. Or hawk pads, any other types

Stay far, far away from PFC's. Cold bite is shit, hot bite isn't what it should be, and they don't dissapate heat well.

COMPLETLY DITTO!!! Plus they are VERY ******* rotors and they dust like MAD.

FWIW, i'm running some cheap-o pads on the car right now(until my Yellows get in). Their $20(the cheap in house brand) from Oreilly's, little to no dust, bite is good, but expect them to perform (under really hard use) like a $20 pad. But, with that said, I like these pads better than PFC's .

I got some EBC Greens for the rear and the Yellows for the front. They don't make a yellow rear pad for the Taurus.

Honestly, the stock PBR pads are a great pad for the street. They don't dust much and grab as hard as you'll ever need.

I am looking for a pad that has a good lifetime warranty on them, i have been to try Wagner thremoquite also. Any ideas about these pads.

Hmmm, my PFC's bite just fine in either situation. Oh well, I guess it's just me. I told him EBC Yellows, PFC, so I guess to each his own.

Chris and I had a different experience(s) with these pads. They dust like crazy (yes, I currently have these pads on) and they do not do well with heat.

He doesnt track it, so I dont see the problem. They bite way better than Wagner Thermoquiet pads. Jason's car is a DD, he should have no problems. I agree there are better pads, but AZ carries them and they are lifetime warranty, so it's easy for him.
