Did SHO's come with K&N air filters in '91?

Well, did they? There is a K&N sticker on my airbox, and the filter feels kind of cottony, not papery. Just curious if a K&N came from the factory. Thanks.

Stop lying to the guy.... Everyone all knows that '91's were the only year to recieve a K&N from the factory... nono rofl


Take a look at you car and note all the things Ford cheaped out on. With that said, do you think they would spend the extra money on a more expensive air filter?

Thanks, just making sure. I haven't seen a K&N before and I wasn't quite sure what the differences were between them and a paper filter besides the cloth texture. Wondered if maybe the dealer didn't just put the sticker on there to look good, or if the car came with it. But now that I think about it, you guys are right in saying that FOMOCO certainly wouldn't go the extra mile there, they didn't anywhere else!
