Hey i am getting exhuast and i have a ?? I wanna get 40 series flowmaster ok? There are 2 types original and delta flow. I found some original cheap but everyone has delta flow would it be ok to get original thanks

By the way, have them cut out the resonator, and replace it with a piece of staight pipe. This will give you more rumble for your money. As time goes on, the mufflers will get louder.

I had delta 50's installed last weekend. I also had the 3rd cat and resonator removed at the same time. I love the sound. Loud but not too intrusive inside the car. Lots of people like the louder sound of the of the regular flowmasters, I however do not. But, to each his own. The 40 series is louder than the 50 series.

I have Borlas on mine sans the resonator and I absolutely love them. They could be a little louder at idle, but that is easily fixed (3rd cat). For right now I will leave the cat in.

Do they 40 series (with OR without the cat and res.) make it TOO loud... for a family car, that is?
