Way to represent with the Gen I Bill! I'm sorry the wife and I couldn't make it, looks like a good time was had by all. My wife's family plans their Christmas parties way in advance, so it couldn't really be avoided. Here's to hoping I can make it next year

You've definately lucked out... if you had a 4WD Chebby you'd have had a few I-shafts, at least one encoder motor and a couple 4WD switches... we may even be doing an oil consumption test because they use some thin rings and an intake gasket.

To take this even further off-topic!!

Guy I work with wanted an '03 SD PS, but the dealer offered no deal. Being younger & dumber, he went down the street and got a great deal on a 2500 Duramax. Engine has been OK, but expensive front-end rebuilds are every coupla years, and electronics like the dash are whacked. Even my boss/brother-in-law, who gets Silverados or GMCs over many years, still thinks a Ford is better for the serious pounding we give trucks.

There's a Special Policy on the Gauge Clusters because they whack out usually the Tach and Speedo... sometimes the Oil PSI and Fuel Gauge go too. They're covered for most VINs until 80,000.

Jim..... sorry I missed you guys this year! How's that sho hunting going?

There's been a few decent ones pop up but I will only buy an 89' 92' or Opal Frost MTX for my next SHO. Since my selection is limited it will take a little while to find.
