Before you spend the money on cross drilled rotors, check out:

http://vorlon.cwru.edu/~jpv/grmbrakes/

There are 5 jpg files there which are a scan of a GRM article about brake upgrades, written by a GM brake engineer. Really good information about brake systems and dispels many a myth... Specifically on page three, the sidebar, "Those Poor Rotors" at the bottom of the page. Good info about why rotors are crossdrilled and why it doesn't help you.

John,

Thank you for that very straight spoken information. This should be made common knowledge to prevent the inevitable future questions concerning those exact topics.

Well I have been running the KVR cross-drilled rotors for a little bit over a year, and I won't be going to them again. When SDPATT and I were looking at them, they already showed signs of cracking around some of the holes. For the price I paid, they don't last for crap. Just use the regular rotors, upgrade the pads, or go with the 96 upgrade. IMHO
