ok sho brainiacs here we go again, we had trouble with the car stalling driving along or stalling rightaway upon startups.so eveyone pretty much figures the cps sensor is bad,or getting dripped on by a faulty waterpump.water pump was leeking we found out at disassembly, along with the ps pump somewhat so it got replaced also w/cps sensor.earlier in the summer the hard stop idle screw was turned in by some phantom mechanic of my wifes friend somewhere along the line because the car wouldnt idle so this was done to correct the problem temporarilly for her tillthey got the switch in without me knowing.now the car has new wp,ps pump, cps sensor and tps switch on it.on initial startup after all the repairs where done it reved to 1800 for a few seconds then to 1000 and then it fell flat on its 4door face. so i proceeded to get it running again then it idled at 1000 for about 5 min then stayed at around 800.i used the computer clearing process with cable off deal, now it runs alot better, you can give it rev checks and most of the time it stays running but when your in gear coming to a stop its idling at 1500 till you go to neutral then it will back off to 6-800 or shut down, also when you put it back in drive or reverse and touch the gas it goes to 1500 again.i just had it to auto zone and had the codes run on it and this is what i got 176 to rich,327 knock sensor 1 circuit low input bank 1 or single sensor,332 knock sensor 2 circuit low input, and last but not least 337 CRANK POSITION SENSOR a circiut low input.i just loved hearing that last one.i guess what i need i the correct proceedure for restoring the hard stop idle screw to its original spot if possible, and where to go next. PS the car does have platinum plugs in it for abuot 40000 miles now hopefully this isnt part of the problem because im told not to run them. i am a little slow what does this hurt. the car is a 1994 3.2 atx w/149000 miles any help is greatly appreciated.
