Can someone let me know what the part numbers are for a new tranny filter, tranny pan gasket, and how many quarts I need? So far I have about 8 Ford quarts ready to go.

I figured once I get around to do the rod bearings I might as well replaced this all at the same time...one job = one mess.

Ford dealer wants a big $$$ tag for the tranny parts so I was looking for other GOOD alternatives. The only one I see on rockauto for us is the ac delco filter and I have no idea if thats good or not. I know the plug wires are said to be good. If I get a part number I will do a search on rock auto as I found that the moog springs did not show up until I did a search for the part numbers.

The Motorcraft FT-128 kit should have the filter and gasket (although it's oddly common for the gasket to have been liberated from the box, so check to make sure).

I actually prefer the Fel-Pro pan gasket anyway (don't have the P/N handy at the moment) which is rubber with steel rings around the bolt holes and re-usable.
