I just got my Coin Tray/Cup holder and when I installed it the first time it was hitting the wiring harness for my deck, but I moved that out of the way, and when I put it in, this is as far as it would go, theres a small tab that its hitting. Is this normal? Or am I going to have to remove those tabs? Does it just look funny because I'm not using the stock radio?

half-way there, I think.
Mine was the same way - stuck out about a 1/4", mine had 4 tabs that kept it from flushing out - I removed mine and put the storage bin back in. I didn't need the coin holder, I got it for the cup holders. Unfortunatly I found at that stiff suspension, bumps, an open can of pop and that cup holder doen't mix well. First bump I hit, the pop can bounced up and the swing out bottom support swung out and down came the pop can.

I have the same problem with my 92. The problem is that the wiring harness stuff (of which there is a LOT) thats behind the deck is in the way of the back of the coin tray/cupholder. Basically you just have to move wiring/harnesses up and to the right and left of where they are, it takes some maneuvering and its not easy but it can be done. You probably have to slide your deck out a little bit to do it.

My cup holder/coin tray that I just got from the junkyard looks the exact same way on my car. I also thought it could be because I'm not running the stock radio. shrug

Creepy.

I got the wiring harness stuff out of the way. The factory harness is long enough, then you put the adapter for your specific deck in and it grows another 3 inches. I think all that the coin tray is hitting is the little taps on the front plate. When I looked at it, I saw a total of 3 tabs I think, and the very top one looks like it is placed a little bit further out. shrug

Mine has the same placement.
I put them in at the same time.(Not by myself though)
I had some trouble getting the cup/coin in, but after placing the wiring harness just right, it fit fine.
