Im sorry , im at work and have no time to search or look into my prob very much - my boss is ********. anyway my check engine light has been comming on and off during a drive , it stays on for a min or so then clicks off. well i had a buddy check for codes today and he faxed me some info. need some help sorting these out. please and thank you. heres what it says=

111
176 - lean bank 2 - or it says back? not sure?
543 - fuel pump circut open , battery to eca

any help out there? on the 111 im not sure if thats a code , thats all that is wrote on this fax. my buddy doesnt know , he only owns a scanner.

o2 Sensor. They always do that , the on/off thing. Lemme guess , your CEL never lits on startup?

Change them both while you're at it.

^ thats just what i was thinking - also poor gas mileage. so there are 2 o2 sensors? is it a easy job? and no the cel light does not come on at start up. thank you Phoenix

Yes theres 2 , And its a straight foward job , might be a little jammed but they usually go without too much sweat. Only a 22mm key is required.

That happened on my '93. I changed the O2s and no difference. I pulled the spark plugs and one was white whereas the others were the normal dark brown. I felt it was one of the FIs clogged and making that one cyclinder lean. This would screw up the O2 reading on that one bank as the PCM was trying to compensate for the one lean cylinder by adding more fuel to that bank.
