Recently I made a post tellig the tales of my SHO and whats wrong with it. For those who missed it, here's what's wrong:

1. While at roughly 30mph and greater, I would notice a sputtering that somewhat went away under heavy throttle. It always felt as if the engine wasn't getting fuel or being choked up. This would last from 30-50mph and went away as the rpms increased along with the speed.

2. Around this same mph (30mph) I would feel a vibration under my left foot that seemed to go away under heavy throttle. On the highway, you'd feel it quite often when downshifting to a lower gear. Being paranoid about this car, my first thought was that thr tranny was cooked yet again.

Fast forward to today when I had my codes read. These are the 6 codes that came up:

a. PO715 Input terbine circuit malfunction
b. PO703 Torque Converter circuit
c. PO156 02 Sensor circuit malfunction Bank 2 Sensor 2
d. PO161 O2 Sensor heater circuit malfunction Bank 2 Sensor 2
e. PO171 System too lean Bank 1
f. PO174 System too lean Bank 2

Now, who can please make light of this?

It definitely looks like a 02 sensor problem on bank 2 sensor 2. It wouldn't hurt to start there.

The tranny codes may seem like the tranny's got issues BUT I've got another idea. My car has had a few bad coils. I've got one right now. It gives me a bit of a miss at idle every few seconds. It's not major at the moment so it isn't throwing a code yet and it will take along time for that to happen. I also have another problem that I feel is related. When cruising at about 60 mph it feels as is the tranny is slipping every once in a while. It feels as if there's a dip in the road even though there isn't one. I think that it's a slight misfire that causes that. You get enough of that and the computer might see that as a tranny problem. I don't know if that's possible or not but it's a theory of mine. It's either that or my tranny really is slipping. Torque convertor problem maybe.

Anyway, Kirk Doucette was having troubles with his car last year and it turned out to be a bad coil. I remember him saying something about the coil causing a reverse emf that really screwed around with the computer.
