I've just recently purchased a used 1992 mtx. I see everyone asking about codes. How do I read them? Special equipment required?

www.shotimes.com shows you how to read them and what to do with them. go into the maintenance section on that site. alls you need is a paper clip.

I took my car to AutoZone for the free code check, but they said they could not check SHO's. What's up with that? I thought you could use any code reader for Fords?
