well i have 3 codes that came up on the engine
116-must have been that stuck open thermostate??
636 trany temp out of range???
551-Problem in Intake Manifold Runner Control (IMRC) solenoid/circuit, i wonder if that is the solinoid that is keeping my secondaries open!
i was wondering if the trany temp is also from the thermostate being stuck open, fluid dosn't smell burnt and is pink, anyone able to help me out here, were the heck am i going to get that solenoid. man i havn't even run the engine on key on test yet, i am afraid.

does the car have to be operating temp to do any test? if so i just did it from cold, i didn't start the car.

So this was KOEO (Key On Engine Off)
either way... i wouldnt worry about the first 2... as the car wasnt up to temp....
but if you do the test again, with the car at operating temp, and you still get those codes... then you need to look into them...

and yes that could be your secondary problem....

Yes, the engine and transmission should be at operating temps.

For the 551, check the IMRC solenoid to make sure the connector is plugged in. That's the solenoid mounted on the firewall side of the intake that controls the vacuum for the secondaries.
