i already searched and didnt reall find an answer... and the search doesnt really search numbers...

codes are
54: ACT (Air Charge Temperature) indicated -40degF; circuit open. Suspect shorted sensor, harness.

all anyone replies to this code is asking whether or not the car was warmed up... well it was now what else could it be...?

52: PSPS (Power Steering Pressure Switch) circuit did not change states.

this one i dont know what i'm looking for...
possibly related to it i' found a plug thats not plugged into anything behind/ under my brake fluid resevoir...
if anyone can let me know where it plugs into or can get a pic of what its supposed to look like i'd really appreciate it...

Larry,

The IAT (aka ACT) sensor mounts into the side of the stock airbox. The fault code you have indicates it is either open or unplugged.

The PSP is physically mounted on the top of the steering rack (it screws into a port on the rack as part of the high pressure line on a non-VAPS system, as I recall.. The PCM uses it to detect when steering effort is being made so the engine management software can bump up the engine's operation to prevent stalling or loss of engine speed due to the increased load on the engine. Make certain the connector is plugged in. Of course, this fault code often occurs due to not quite getting the timing right while performing the KOER PCM Quick Test.

thnx steve and i'll post whether or not it fixes em....

Ed.: fixed them both once i found where they plug back in and all is right in the world again... No more CEL....
