HEGO sensor indicates system lean (LH)??

Is that a O2 sensor and if so which one would it be?
The one closer to the firewall or the in the front of the car?

Mine is a 94 ATX 3.2L

Also when I got the car I could hit the gas and burn rubber.

Now after I installed a rebult trans I hit the gas and sometimes it backfires and dies or it hesatates and moves like slow until the rpms raise above 3000 then I get that nice throtey sound and it takes off.
But no longer can I peel out unless its wet out.

NO MORE SMOKE SHOWS :headbang: :jpshakeh:

You need to determine a couple basic peramiters of the engines operation, like:

- Does it fight to rev?
- Does it backfire? If so when?
- Clean your tailpipes and check them in a week for black soot
- How old are the oxygen sensors?
- How old are the plugs and wires?
- Is there any oil in the plug wells?

Taking a blind approach I can tell you the following, the EEC IV compensations can make diagnosis very interesting. For example, lets say you have a faulty MAF which is pushing the car lean. You will generally get a code for front and rear bank lean when in all actuality your car is now running rich to compensate. So it's a matter of tracking down the initial source of your problem.

In your case, I would look first to your oxygen sensors since only one bank is giving an indication of a problem. It's important to replace these in pairs. If you answer the rest of the questions, we can offer a bit more insight.
