Say how are all you folks doing ? good I hope. Any ways I was hoping to fined out who makes the best
clutch for the 92 SHO and any idea as to how long it takes to R&R the trans and clutch?

Thanks for any and all input.

Update may 27th/2021
Well I made the decision to have amco do my clutch and having my 92 SHO towed down the mountain rather than me doing the work in the dirt no lift and limited resorses such tools even a decent jack. I set up the tow yesterday and ordered a flat bed tow truck. Wil the tuck shows up and already has a car on the flat bed. The drive tells me that he going to take my SHO down the mountain on the hook meaning he's going to drag my SHO BY A FISH HOOK. Now I just got new tires at $200.00 each All season all terrain v-rated tires that's 149 mph tire and the car hasn't even been driven yet and he wants to put it on a hook and drag it behind his tow truck down the mountain roughly 45 miles down and back coming in like 90 miles. Now here's a guy who clearly has got me ****** up l mean I ordered a flat bed truck to take my car down the mountain and he shows up with a car on the truck and tell me he's going to drag my SHO on a hook. What did he think was going to happen.

Anyway I feel dam good about my decision to have a shop fix my car so I can feel confident and reliability and know that I'm driving safe vehicle and no I did not let that idiot hook my car he had no appreciation for my property or the car and there's no way I'll let anybody that doesn't appreciate my property to handle it. Can't respect it you don't respect me that's just the way I see it and that idiot can hook his car up that way and drag it around not mine!!!

have a good day all

For a stock running vehicle I would stick with a Valeo style stock clutch. If you are racing that would be different and make it drive differently.

All of my SHOs up to this point get an O'Reillys Power Torque stock clutch. They can handle all the bolt-ons you can throw at them. It's made by Sachs so you can actually get a better price thru Rockauto but you get lifetime warranty when you buy from O'Reillys.

Doing it by yourself I'd plan for a weekend replacement. It gets faster the more you do it, but you'll want to take your time so you don't miss anything.

Last year at the SHO Convention they did a trans swap in one hour and 16 minutes in the hotel parking lot. Fun times!
