No, I wasn't serios USHOMEISHOU, it is a joke site if you didn't get it.

Sorry to poke fun.

back to the matter at hand, yes regular ATF. What kind? That topic is debated almost as much as motor oil , or filter choice. Tranny fluid is one thing that is kind of specific to your transmission, each one seems to take each fluid differently.

Me, I've used Valvoline Dex/Merc and Mobil One. Both were an improvement over the original mud from 1990. I like the Mobil one better, and most people do, It seems to simply smooth things out and give better feel.

Have fun, glad I don't have to do it again for a very long time.

Read the post in the Product Feedback forum. Valvoline is a top favorite (I run it), and Castrol too. Mobil 1 was popular, but losing favor to these.

It's kind of trial and error. I used the Valvoine for a couple of months and though it was pretty good, but I changed it to Mobil 1, and it's much better.

It's all up to the tranny to decide.:thumb:

It really depends on what your tranny likes and what feel's the best to you.
FYI: I have ran 1/2 dozen different types of fluid in my tranny's to find out what they like.

At this very moment my daily driver has the Valvoline MAX Life in it.
My Green 91+ with the Quaife has GM Syncromesh.
